Scrapbooking with a sketch
Whether you use them all the time or quite rarely, sketches are the thing that gets requested time and time again. So I have three for you this weekend – one for each day!
Today’s sketch is the simplest. I’ve just used one photograph, but you could add more photos to a central block if you prefer more pictures on the page. You can keep it simple or add more embellishment to this outline.
Create a scrapbook page, card or other craft project based on this sketch and upload it to your blog or a page gallery. Leave a link in the comments on this post to be entered to win. See this post for details and deadlines for this weekend’s online crop.
One randomly chosen entry will win a selection of label stickers for your next scrapping project. (Digi scrappers can opt for digital labels if you prefer!)
I can’t wait to see your projects!

very simple digi LO
the lace is some that I scanned in and used as a transparency (this enables me to make it any size any colour) I also ‘cut’ the lace flower out of it to make the embellishment
font used for title is Amaze and the journalling font is Arial

I love a sketch! Shimelle, you actually sent me a sheet of unused stickers once, which is where the “love” label came from.

I quite like simple sketches like this, as there’s plenty of room to add what you like and make it your own! You can find mine here.

Shimelle, thanks so much for this sketch. It suits this formal photo perfectly and this page for my parents Golden Wedding album is now so much better than I would have done on my own.

I think it is a good idea, I have thought of it but not as detailed as you.

To gain ideas for a layout and how to arrange items on the page, make some sketches. They are also adaptable in that you can change or add items to suit your needs.
